About
Hailing from Wasilla, Alaska, Jake Beauvais is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage. There he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a performance emphasis. He has been featured in department productions such as Eurydice as Orpheus, Picasso at the Lapin Agile as The Visitor, and Radium Girls as United States Radium Corporation president, Arthur Roeder. Jake revels in the rehearsal process and finds it to be the most rewarding part of a production. He also firmly believes that through collaboration the best product can be found. Jake brings with him an excited energy to work and his particular brand of humor. He was also a founding member and collaborating director of UAA’s resident improv troupe, The Ad-lib Alchemists.
When not performing Jake likes to spend his time tinkering with and building computers and engaging in collaborative storytelling (playing Dungeon and Dragons).
He was last seen in Perseverance Theatre’s 2019 production of A Christmas Carol, right before the pandemic set in.
Jake currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
